Public Order Vehicles
Olympic have produced a variety of public order vehicles to several design layouts most are protected vehicles, some are for covert operations. All the designs are intended for operation in highly volatile situations if necessary and are equally designed to operate in day to day policing roles.Large volume "one stop shop" facilities for major van orders are available with Mercedes Benz or Ford Motor Co.
Alternatively small "one off" orders are produced to suit individual forces requirements.

Public Order Training and Incident Vehicle.
Semi covert dual role van conversion based on LWB hi top Ford Transit. Front crew area seats six officers with storage area to transport assault ladders, hand tools, access equipment, shields etc. - Access platform fitted to roof to enable further vehicle flexibility during public order incidents.

Ford Transit based dual role conversion for covert surveillance purposes or P.N.C. checking.
Features include on board generator and work stations with discreet "windows" and viewing panels for infra red camera usage.

Motorway/Traffic Unit :

Land Rover Discovery based storage system designed to carry traffic or accident control equipment such as 30 off road cones, emergency lighting, tow ropes, hydraulic jacks, and portable road signs. An extremely versatile conversion designed to allow easy refitting necessary for high mileage short life span motor vehicles.

Featuring 3 separate work areas for radio communications, incident control and operational/tactical briefing area. Fitted with super silent 7kw on board generator to power all services backed by U.P.S. and, inverter supplies to electrical circuit, air conditioning, TV & Video, vehicle stabilisers, VDU compatible interior lighting, exterior floodlighting, interior central heating etc. Conversion based on Mercedes Benz "Vario" 7.500 kgs GVW panel van.

The lowered chassis frame assists the disabled access and also reduces the overall dimensions for easier rural driving and public acceptance.
Fittings for the operator include toilet facilities, refrigerator, cooking facilities, office and desk areas, on board generator, water and waste water tanks and full electrical facilities including display lighting.
The public area includes exterior awning, comfortable seating, display boards, information video and an enclosed area for discreet interviews all set into an environment designed to encourage public entrance and participation.
